      • The special rate can only be availed by Doctors and Nurses who are in service currently.
      • The rate is applicable for personal travel only. This rate cannot be used for business travels.
      • Valid Doctors and Nurses photo ID required in original along with mandatory Government photo ID, at the time of check-in.
      • The booking must be for personal use only. The concerned Doctors and Nurses personnel is required to stay as a part of the booking.
      • All bookings must be guaranteed by a valid credit card. Bills for extras must be settled directly at check out. Bill to company will not be entertained.
      • The Doctor/Nurse personnel must stay at the hotel.
      • The original employees ID to be presented at check-in. A copy of the employee ID will be retained by the hotel team for the records.
      • In the absence of valid company ID, the special rate will not be applicable, and the hotel will charge the regular applicable best available rate, with no discounts or inclusive.
      • The offer is available at participating hotels only.  Rate subject to availability at time of booking. Limited rooms available on the offer. Blackout dates will apply.
      • The discounted offer is calculated on the Best Available Rate and cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotional offer, package or negotiated rate.
      • A 25 percent discount on food, beverages (including alcoholic beverages) and spa services can be availed during the stay by the Employees.
      • Maximum occupancy per room is defined as per hotel’s policy. Additional Charges will be applicable for Children or Extra Adult in the room based on the hotel’s policy.
      • Credit Card Guarantee Required at the time of reservation
      • Cancellation allowed 7 days prior to Check In date or as defined by the hotel at the time of the reservation. The hotel will charge penalty for the duration of the stay if cancelled within the cancellation period on the credit card provided at the time of the booking
      • In case of no show the hotel reserves the right to charge the room rate and taxes applicable for the duration of the stay on the credit card provided at the time of the booking.
      • All bills will need to be settled at the time of check-out by the traveller. No credit / Bill to Company or charge to the Company Employees ID will be provided.
      • This Rate for Medical Professional cannot be booked by travel agents and are net-not commissionable.
      • Reservation may be modified online only as per the predefined policy. In case of modification the rates are subject to change and rooms are based on availability.
      • The Medial professional rate can be utilized for a maximum of 3 rooms with not more than 9 guests at a given time. Not valid on group bookings (above 3 rooms, or 9 guests). Reservations exceeding 3 rooms on overlapping dates will be considered as a group booking; each hotel reserves the right to refuse such bookings based on availability and will apply differential rates.
      • Maximum Length of stay at a hotel is 7 nights. For stay more than 7 nights approval required from the hotel. Each hotel reserves the right to refuse such bookings and will apply special rates.
      • The Medical Professional Rate Policy may be terminated or changed at any time without prior notice.

      Medical Professional Special Rate FAQs

      I am a medical professional but not a doctor or nurse. Am I eligible for this offer?

      The offer is only for Doctors and Nurses who are in service currently. It is not applicable for any other category of medical personnel.

       

      How will the bookings be verified?

      We will require your original medical professional ID card along with a government approved photo ID at check- in.

       

      The website is slow and it’s taking long to book my stay.

      I am not able to see the discounted rates.

      It may be because we’ve exhausted the availability of rooms under this offer due to high demand. We sincerely regret the inconvenience caused.

       

      Can I book the stay on behalf of my family?

      You can book a maximum of two rooms for yourself and family per hotel. You are required to accompany your family as a part of this booking.

       

      Can I book this offer via phone?

      Yes, you can. Please call 1-800-111-825 and specify that you are looking to book under the Medical Professional Special Rate for Medical Professional personnel. Our associates will guide you with your booking.

       

      Can I book Taj hotels in International destinations too?

      No, this is offer is valid for India hotels only. Valid across all IHCL hotels - Taj, Vivanta, SeleQtions and Ginger hotels.

       

      I am a TIC member. Can I earn/redeem my TIC points while availing this offer?

      Yes, every booking made through this offer will help you earn/redeem TIC points.

       

      What would be the applicable taxes?

      In India we will levy additional GST per booking.

       

      Do I need to pay in advance?

      Your credit card details will be taken at the time of making a reservation and secured payment link will be shared to prepay your reservation/s.

       

      What are the cancellation charges?

      If the booking is cancelled prior to the cancellation window which may range from 7 days for city hotels to 30 days for leisure hotels, you will be entitled to a full refund. In case the booking is cancelled within the cancellation window, then the entire deposit will be forfeited.

       

      Is there a booking restriction on number of nights?

      Yes, you can process 1 reservation for maximum of 7 nights.

       

      Can we use Amex voucher or Taj Gift voucher?

      Yes.  Amex vouchers can be used against all stays. Taj Experiences Gift Cards are cash equivalent and can be used against any spends including stays, dining, spa and taxes, etc. They cannot be used against payouts such as taxi hire or equipment hire for banquets

       

      I have already done the booking in the past, can I cancel it and go for this offer?

      We will not amend any existing booking to the offer if within cancellation period.

      If the booking is outside cancellation, you will need to cancel the booking and process a new reservation.

       

      Can I book more than 1 destination?

      Yes you can, but not more than 2 rooms per destination
